Horses - Trini Tinturé

Horses - alone and, particularly, in their relation to people - are one of Trini's specialities.

As written in the catalog of a 1990 comic exhibition (Sitges), "many years of documentation about horse-riding techniques, horse breeds and frequent behaviours turn Trini into a true expert in the composition and drawing of all types of situations that revolve around horses. Such solid technical base is combined, in Trini, with the distinct sweetness of her characters, which is able to pervade the horses themselves, thereby making them, on occasion, the main characters of a story... In Trini's graphic universe horses and people interact in perfect harmony, so that the borderlines between the human kingdom and the animal kingdom get absorbed, almost suspended, within the powerful kingdom of imagination, so near to us and, at the same time, so intangible."
